Bob I will happily endorse the Minolta 5mp Dimage 7 series cameras. They deliver good quality images, have the best raw file conversion software Ive seen giving 16 bit tiff files and have a 28mm wide angle setting . One drawback only and that is barrel distortion at 28mm ,which can be corrected with proprietary software. The latest A1 version has an image stabilising system that moves the CCD and allows hand held tele shots set on 200mm at just 1/125 sec. I use my 7Hi daily, the Hasselblad only comes out of its case for "better" quality jobs now. Also be aware that Sony will be introducing an 8mp camera with Zeiss 28 to 200mm lens that takes flash cards next month for 795 in the UK,all their previous offerings only used their silly and expensive memory sticks and were limited to the 35mm (almost) wide angle
