Hi List. I'm posting this on behalf of Paul Grundy who can't because of
the subject title! G4733 OSX 10.2.8 probably:-) It will boot into 9.2
but booting into OSX gets an immediate error message saying you need to
restart your computer. If it is booted with the option key pressed
choosing the OSX option that is offered the grey startup screen with
the grey apple logo appears but has a corrupted band two inches wide
across the middle and the computer gets no further. The first sign of
trouble was clicking on an image received by email (from another Mac
user) which appeared to be opening in Photoshop but never actually did.
Any advice at all is gratefully received. A reinstall of OSX seems
obvious but it would be good to know what caused it in the first place.
Perhaps replies should be offlist.
