Dear prodig,
I must confess that I am not really in the workplace, but I am really
enjoying the list - high on useful information and low on inflated
egos.
I am essentially a jazz musician who was once an electrical engineer.
I am computer literate, am on my third digital camera (only a Dimage
7i) and tried lots of manipulation software before being brave and
 joined the grown-ups with Photoshop.
I am a keen oil painter, using my digital photos as a starting point.
I am 54 years old - used a Canon A1 for years taking slides and
 developing B&W.
So, although I do not fully meet the membership criteria, I hope you
allow me to continue lurking. I came across the list via a website mentioned in
Adobe Photoshop for Photographers by Martin Evening. Although I
suppose I am not really meant to send you an unqualified endorsement,
it is, actually, a great book.
