Hello to all,
I am an argentine underwater photographer, based in Buenos Aires. I work mainly with
film
cameras, and am making my slow transition to digital. As almost half of my work is in
black and white, this side will probably remain this way, and I will use digital for my
color photographs (just because I still like to work in the lab with my b&w
negatives).
I spend most of my day at the computer doing some digital working, be this:
-the scanning and color correcting part of the process when submitting images to
(photo -
scubadiving - tourism) magazines for publishing, which I do regularly,
-doing desktop publishing, having edited and published a small diving magazine, right
from my system, for almost 3 years, in the 90's.
-color correction and printing of pinhole photographs (from paper negatives).
You can see part of my current work at the website www.light-underwater.com (black and
white underwater photography, bilingual website).
I hope to learn a lot about digital photography in this list, and also to be able
contribute with my short experience to some of the topics discussed here.
Thanks in advance.
Best regards,
Marcelo
