Hi Guys/Gals

I'm about to venture into Panther (OS X 10.3). It appears that you can
upgrade a previous installed OS X (10.2.8 in my case) rather than having to
reinstall the OS, not to mention the hundreds of odd applications I use.

I upgraded with no problems other than the loss of my scsi scanner.....(which has nothing to do with the method used)

I think that the custom route, omitting unnecessary printers and languages is maybe the way to go.

And was it worth it?

No question- expose and application switching are reason enough!
