Many people recommend a clean install, but I think that's being a bit too
overly safe. I've "upgraded" over 10.2.3 on a Powerbook without problem.

There have been reports of wireless DCHP problems on Apple's discussion
board (among others), but I'm not sure if there's a full consensus on the
exact cause of the problem.

I thought Panther had screwed up my third party wireless card; spent a full
day plus, rebuilding it back to 10.2.3, cursing myself for....curiosity
killing the cat, only to find it was the fault of my failing wireless
router.

I'm back to 10.2.3 (but tempted to reinstall Panther). I think the smart
bet would be to wait for 10.3.1
