interesting, perhaps you need to delete monitor preferences, or maybe
you don't have some parts of colorsync loaded. 

Anyway, be aware that a visual calibration is always going to be
limited in accuracy, also, that the powerbook does have limitations
when being used as a colour accurate workstation! There are utilities
which will get the best out of a Powerbook, I use basICColor Display /
iOne on my 12 inch and now new 15 inch, the calibration is very good.
(but the screen still has it's limitations).

you may ned to think about 0.2, 9.1 is very old now.

happy users keep quiet I guess. I love OSX myself. (as much as you can
love any OS, there's always a bit of hate in there)
