Can you be more specific? What's your configuration? Which OS are you running? Have you checked the memory slider in the Preferences dialog to make sure that it's set as high as for PS7 (if it's set significantly lower, then CS won't use as much memory and may slow down because it's using the disk more). Overall, most things should be faster in CS (some significantly so), with a very few things a little slower than in 7. CS is a bit bigger than 7, so if you just barely had enough memory to avoid hitting the disk in 7, you may see increased disk activity, but that's also rare (few people are that close to the edge in memory use). We've had a very few reports of significant slowdowns in CS from people running on Win2K, but so far we've been unable to reproduce this or track down what the common factor is.
