I use Olympus E10s and E20s, and leave the camera on Auto exposure setting. Very rarely do I have to spend any time at all correcting colour or density. I hasten to add - that it made me feel rather humble when after years of lightmeter readings and exposure corrections for different films/ conditions - the camera 'knew' better than I did. >Ill need to send staight from the camera... That is what I do. I don't know to what extent the lab corrects my files, not at all would be my guess, as the price I pay is for package deal! Try the 10d's automatic settings, if anything I would have thought they are better than the (much cheaper) Olympus's. >...there a simple question > on technique for you all. Perhaps too simple an answer for you, the correct answer will no doubt come from someone more skilled. However, I am curious why you do what you do, because to me "If it ain't broke, dont mend it".
