Working on some Canon 1ds RAW files; shot with the Tungsten setting (under tungsten lighting). Shot Raw+Jpg.
Open the RAW files in Photoshop CS's Browser; they first appear neutral as they did when capturing them, then they turn a hideous magenta color. I can open them with in Camera RAW and make the color corrections etc...., but why did they change color in the Browser? If I open the Jpgs, they look neutral and fine, just as the RAW files did for that brief moment. Any way around this unwanted rendering, and what's up with this?
