I thought I'd post the conclusion to the Leeds/Calumet/faulty 1Ds problem that I had, as I'm sure there will be other people with similar issues. Calumet made helpful noises after I posted on here last time mentioning their initial complete refusal to help, though they didn't actually agree to a refund or replacement if Canon didn't play ball. I had a very pleasant surprise though when Nick Fox from Sangers (parent company of Leeds) heard about my complaint and immediately said that if I didn't get any joy with Canon that Sangers would give me a refund. He was extremely helpful in chasing Canon, got me a loan camera from a far flung Canon rep when Calumet refused to loan me one (my camera was faulty for nearly a month) and no-one within Canon could find me a spare. He's now got Canon to agree to replace my camera with a new one. So I just wanted to say thank you publicly to Sangers and Fixation (who also loaned me a camera free of charge for a period, and spent many hours chasing Canon tech people for answers) for being fantastic in what was a rather stressful time.
