Hi I'll answer this one fairly quickly before it gets deemed ultra vires (I disagree, but we've been there before :-)
I still use Dreamweaver 4 for my photo site. I've upgraded to MX, but I'm waiting for a complete site makeover until I use it for the Images site. Whatever you get, there is no better way to learn a package than to build something for real! Two key things I usually suggest: Keep it simple -- people like -good- elegant design Design it on paper first -- lots of sheets of paper to show how it all fits together I have quite a large collection of human factors (usability) info in the info section of my site if it helps -especially <http://www.webpagesthatsuck.com/> One other thing - a pet hate- front pages that say 'click here to enter' Oh and flash movies ... No, no thats enough already!! bye for now Keith Cooper Northlight Images http://northlight-images.co.uk Photography - Digital Imaging - Apple Mac Consultancy Tel +44 (0)116 291 9092 Mobile +44 (0)780 162 9397 =============================================================== GO TO http://www.prodig.org for ~ GUIDELINES ~ un/SUBSCRIBING ~ ITEMS for SALE
