When I initially installed it, I could open all image files by clicking on them or dragging them onto the Photoshop CS icon. No more. If I double click a file, it does that strange 'expansion' thing on the desktop or wherever, but nothing else happens.
Have you done a Get Info on a PS document? What does it say in 'Open with:'?
Set this to PS CS and then check the box marked 'Use this application to open all documents like this.' by hitting the 'Change All...' button.
Hopefully that should do the trick.
