Dear Shangara I unreservedly apologize to you for any distress my post caused - it was not directed directly at you, was not meant to appear vindictive, but just an observation in general about the mostly friendly rivalry between the two systems. You are one of the people I most enjoy reading on the forum, for your depth of knowledge and the way you try to help others by sharing it (and yes, I did read Norman Childs' Sunday musings). The amount of time you devote to this forum is exceptional and although I don't know you personally, I'm sure I would benefit from it! I also agree with much of what you say in your reply, although I'm sorry you think I lurk in the background not bothering to help - by nature I enjoy helping people - encouraging them to explore photography of all kinds (some of these people are disabled and disadvantaged), however, If I see a post I genuinely feel I can contribute to, I will.
