Just photographed a load of silverware. As I don't have my own studio and the items were of a 6 figure value a space in their factory was found. Only problem, it had a purple wall. Built myself a tent with black sheets and portable table/back ground etc. Well theres bound to be a colour cast somewhere with silverware. Now I am able to get rid of the cast with hue saturation and paint in the bits that need to have colour.
Couldn't have done the same with film with such ease.
Dear Ian
Perhaps you would have used milk to overcome the problem....we had to be resourceful then, still a good trick to use!
Cheers
