Hi, I wonder if anyone can guide me on this. I've just photographed a very old Chinese calligraphic scroll, and of course had to do it in many sections. Have spent a happy time piecing them all together in PS7... <-;( Not easy when it was kinked and twisted, the scroll I mean, not PS7. Initially only a reference print is wanted, but even at four inches high, the print will be around 9 feet long. (10cm x 3m approx). Will it be possible for a print shop to take 1 file and print it in one strip on four inch wide paper? The main shop I know here in Beijing uses I think a Polielettronica. And then if it's printed full height at around 15 inches (about 40 cm) the length will be 35 feet?! Having seen a very long exhibition print at Focus a few years back it must be possible somehow. (60 metres?) Would appreciate any guidance on this. All the best, David Buying or selling cameras or digital equipment?
