1. Open any folder. Go to the View drop down menu and select List. Go to the Tools drop down menu and select Folder Options. Select the View tab and click on Apply to all Folders. And that's it. 2. Go to the button bar and right click select Customize and move the Views button into the Current tool bar buttons. (If you already have this button, ignore this.) This button will allow you to select the desired view on any open window. (You will have to apply this to all windows as I have described in 1. above.)
