Best ColorProof (on PC), Shiraz (Pc or Mac), and the new coming version of
proofmaster out Q1 2004 (PC and Mac).

For now I'd recommend the Shiraz - not having tried the Best v.5. (If anyone
from Best/Efi is listening drop me a line).

I've just spend a couple of days setting up three 9600 on 3 Shiraz rips for
one of the biggest publishers in Denmark. These will replace two Digital
cromalins and will triple the amount of possible throughput, even if one
machine is down. The client is ecstatic with quality and ease of use, being
accustomed to the Dupont way of life.

They don't seem to mind the cost being about 1/6th of the digital cromalins
per page, and the speed being just about doubled :-p

Best Regards
