I just can't figure out why in the name of Archiving didn't anyone provide
the police staff with the info about the basic techniques and equipments to
go back to film from digital files for those ultra critical images.
Perhaps the re-opening of the lab can still be usefull in this direction
and have the best of both worlds, and it can even become a profit center for
a privately owned company and this way the police does not get overly
involved in imaging techniques, so they can focus in what they do best.
