Richard

I think the thing that makes my blood boil about what you said is perhaps
not the late payment, which unfortunately is a fact of life when you're in
business, but the naked cynicism of stating that it's their "policy" not to
pay you on your terms.

We've all experienced problems with payment and some agencies work on the
premise of "don't even think about chasing invoices before 120days".
If you know that this is the way things are before you start a job, a late
payment factor can be built into your invoice and they can pay for it.

You have to decide whether to work for them again and perhaps pay for the
privilege of using you to fund their overdraft.

I'd be interested to hear if anyone out here has ever used copyright and the
embedded copyright metadata in files to get leverage over really late paying
clients.

Cheers

Paul
