Over 2 years ago someone posted a link to an amazing site about the work of a 19th century Russian photographer who photographed via R, G and B filters onto Mono film. Only recently were the 3 plates able to be restored and combined and printed in colour, giving never-seen-before colour photos of life in Russia then.
Could you please post the link again? I suppose I should say off-list, but I suspect most on the list will be pretty fascinated with this site and the digital methods used to restore this chap's work.
Dear David
Great stuff!
Cheers
Richard
