Good Morning, I am considering an upgrade to the Apple 17" note book to tether the digital camera in the studio and on location.
It comes with Jaguar, but the guy at Mac World says Apple will send a free copy of Panther after I purchase it. Anyone know if this is a fact, I can't find any thing about it on the Apple site? Also, has anyone purchased the Apple notebook lately and has a recommendation as to where to buy it in the US. The price of the notebook seems to be about the same, it is the extras, memory,printer, warranty and shipping that they will discount. I assume it would be a mistake not to purchase the warranty, I understand if you ever need service it is VERY expensive.
