Dear List, On one of my workstations, I have two 17" Apple LCD studio displays. When I woke the machine (G4 867DP, OSX 10.3.1)) from sleep yesterday morning, the bottom half of the second monitor was much darker than the top half.
A restart (going down the single user route) seemed to cure it but the same has happened again this morning and I am not able to cure the problem. I have swapped the monitors around (not their physical location, but the graphics cards which they are plugged into) and the problem always lies with the same monitor. The power light on this monitor also flashes sporadically. To me, it all points to a hardware fault. Any ideas?
