My chosen O/S is windows.
I took that route as my neighbour and fellow rugby player teaches computer studies at
university.
He said that If I chose PC rather than Mac he would be able to support me,I'm glad I
went
the Windows route.
I really needed that support.
It does seem now that the two systems are capable of doing anything we want, albeit
in a
marginally dissimilar fashion.
Next year Apple will be adopting the same hardware as the Pc,s as IBM are discontinuing
the production of the (name unknown, Motorola ? ) Apple chip.
We are reaching convergence.
For me the computer chosen sits under the desk, out of site,Its just a box in the same
way
that my car engine sits under the bonnet, the only giveaway is the V12 badge on the
tailgate( OK its a 4cyl diesel, who really cares?)

Since subscribing to prodig Ive received much help, many answers and by reading posts
with
no real interest have been able to recognise problems and apply solutions because
someone
else had commented about it,wonderful!
I actually don't mind Mac users posting problems on the list as it rather makes me feel
like someone who has had the flu jab and can walk amongst all those with colds feeling
smug :-)))
Have a good week all
