Does anyone have experience of the S2 as compared to the D100 in conjunction with the Mac and have any comment to make?
I shoot mainly editorial and the ability to shoot continuously is an important issue.
I've had an S2 for a few months and am pleased with it. I tried both and, although I preferred the D100 as a camera (handling, batteries), I preferred the colour of the S2, especially straight-out-of-the camera JPEGs. If you want to shoot RAW you need to get additional software (I upgraded to Photoshop CS and use the Adobe Raw plug-in that comes with it). If "shoot continuously" means fast sports action, you may need to look elsewhere, but I also shoot editorial and have never had a problem with frames per second. HTH.
