[PRODIG] In Camera sharpening with D100?

I'm getting files from a photographer using a D100 and I am seeing 
what appears to be sharpening artifacts (the haloing effect). Is 
there an on board sharpening setting for the Kodak D100 that he may 
have inadvertently activated? I don't believe he applied sharpening 
after exposure but when I ask about it I want to know a bit more 
about the camera's abilities.
