What to choose really boils down to which profile you use. If you use a Dupont profile (I know you don't) to CMYK files with, Brunner is the way to go. If you use a ISO 12647-2 profile (Like Euroscale Coated v2 to mention one <G>) the Fogra Mediavedge v2 is the way to go. If you add spectro and bit of software to the arsenal you'll be able to verify your own proofs and make a printed report stating the exactness of each and every proof you can stable to the proof. I have about 20 designers here in DK loving this as it removes any doubt about a proof they supply and makes it a valued billable item as opposed to any other print. This can work on a printer without a RIP too btw. For more info on this (I might become a bit commercial here), please contact me off-list. > > Are there any other (free) alternatives.
