verify your own proofs and make a printed report stating the exactness of

This is of course just as it should be. Whilst a proof may be correct when it leaves the premises, it would seem from reports on various lists that there are lots of proofs being produced that alter drastically as the days/weeks go past.

Having carried out testing on different proofing papers I know how true this scenario could be. All contract proofs leaving here have an appropriate colour bar, details of the profiles used, rendering intent etc., and the date made, plus usage and storage guide and in some cases a Gatf/Rheim light indicator strip.
