Your test is a comparison between two different systems which enable you to
arrive at the same approximate destination.

What I think you have done is to travel from say Edinburgh to London. One
journey is by train and the other by air.

The train journey is the film route - slower and you arrive at Kings Cross.
The air route is faster and you land at Heathrow.

Only you know which is more convenient and only you know where you would
prefer to arrive once in the London area.

In other words it is difficult to make a total comparison. For example, I
imagine you could use Photoshop to correct which ever image you felt was
inferior colour to match the other, or even match them like for like.

I think it is accepted that sensors tend to show up differences between
lenses more than than film. I would have thought that, ideally you should be
using the same lens on each camera, but realise that this is not an option
in this test, but there are too many other variables in your test for it to
be conclusive.

There is a marked difference in colour saturation etc. between different
lenses for instance when attached to a 10D.
