Hi Bob- I can only talk about the Minolta Elite 5400 and can only say it is fantastic! I have posted quite a view reviews about it on this list- you should be able to find them in the archieves. You actually will end up with about 115mb files! You will need a pretty powerful computer to be able to work with these file sizes in PS! I had sofar only excellent experiences with it. But unfortunately somebody on this list had really problems with the filmstrip feeder- can't remember who and had to take his scanner back 3 or 4?? times.
