I'm having terrible trouble getting an accurate colour profile for my Nikon LS-8000 espescially when scanning Velvia. 'Out of the box' I get scans that have a deep blue cast. I've attempted to create profiles using a Velvia target from Wolf Faust and ScanOpenICC, but these profiles seem to make the majority of my scans bluer and darker. I'm using Nikon Scan 4 on the PC and on the Mac - I get the same issue with each. If I go and pickup a midpoint curve on a neutral area then the scan looks great...
