I am running a LaCie EB 19" IV with Monaco Opticx and MonacoEZColor and it seems to run perfectly.

On the other hand I have heard repeatedly many bad thinks about the LaCie calibrations tools...

For what it worth.

Best regards.

I've calibrated/profiled recent LaCies myself with the basICColor Squid
and basICCColor Display SW, and I have lots of clients who do it too. I
did hear about a software update from Gretag (iOne Match) just to fix a
recent LaCie issue. maybe Colorvision didn't make the update before the
demo?

'At the end of last year I attempted to calibrate a monitor, as part of a
lecture, at the college where I teach Photoshop and Digital Imaging. The
system was a late G4 running OS 9.2 with a Lacie 19" (Electra Blue?) CRT
monitor. I was demonstrating the use of the ColorVision Spyder with
PhotoCal software.'

It is an issue with the LaCie. For unknown (but suspect) reasons, the latest
LaCie ElectronBlues will only calibrate correctly with their own proprietary
BlueEye.
