Dear List,
A big thank you to all who replied. In the end, a combination of suggestions
gave me the solution, but for your information:-
A. I opened the watermark file ( a simple layer only)
B. Created Action to:
Select All
Copy
(left watermark file open)
Open source file
Paste
adjust blending modes etc as paste REMOVES all blending options!
flatten
Save as JPEG quality 7.
STOP ACTION
C. Batched action using override OPEN and override Save As
The advantage is that you can therefore use your own logo shapes designs,
without having to create EPS for "PLACE" options.
