I doubt that any company here in the UK will discount the price on a
Powerbook to anywhere near what they are in the US so I would suggest
purchasing from there. Apples warranty on laptops is worldwide. I
purchased mine from www.macconnections.com and collected it while I was
out there. My brother-in-law was so impressed with the beast he ordered
a 1.33ghz PB with 1gig ram and 3 year extended warranty. It was
delivered last week , total cost including import duty and VAT was
�2416.00. The UK price �2918.00 !
