I run all my Mac's on OS X Panther & for a week or so have experienced problems downloading from Nikon D1X to my laptop only whereby the download begins but after transferring 3 or 4 files it just stops, or wont do it at all.
On a desktop it seems to work fine but not convenient if on location. Finally phoned Nikon who advise that Nikon View 4 doesn't support OS X. ew software update should be available in Feb. They said to run Mac in OS 9 - it seems to work! Just thought others of you may find this of use.
