Woops! The zeros don't add up in the above example but I'm sure you sussed
it all out. David Rieck's tutorial is very detailed, should anyone need an
in depth step by step explanation.

Not needed in Photoshop CS. I think the sequential auto-naming of files was
a late addition to Photoshop 7 and never made it into the interface, or the
documentation.
