Paul, A print at the size you say at 180ppi I estimate is nearly 7,000 pixels wide. This should produce a print file of about 100Mb rather than 300Mb. Which is normally fine to print. The printer has 32Mb of Buffer although I am not sure how the computer feeds it the files. I don't think it is just about how much free memory/disk space you have on the computer. I think 300Mb could be asking for trouble although I don't know.
Nathan Gaydhani - photography and digital imaging ----------------------------------------- Subject: RE: [PRODIG] Epson 7600 large prints Hi Nathan I thought the print buffer must be the problem - but why? The print file from memory was about 300mb they were sized to 180ppi and the hard drives had about 10gigs of space reported. I have had prints fail when the hard drives are full but this just doesn't appear to be the case. Thanks for the input.
