I don't know whether or not it is entirely founded but I have never been a great fan of the PC & Mac format - I have had problems in the past when burning in that way. I can only say that I never have problems with Taiyo Yuden CDs on my 32x LaCie writer in ISO9660 or Mac Only formats.
