I Have to be hounest and say that I have never heard a bad word against the 2100 but mine is an absolute dog. My last call to Epson ended with me saying that I was going to throw it in the bin and buy a printer that worked when I wanted it to!

Hi All,
Thinking of buying the Epson Stylus Photo 2100 A3 Printer. I have seen a
demo and my other printers are Epson but what is it really like to work
with?
I too have had many problems with my 2100. The various bugs in Epson's drivers were bad enough, but at 10 months old it developed head clogs that couldn't be cleared. I had to return the machine 4 times for 'repairs' until Epson finally agreed to a replacement. Several people have suggested that the printer should not be left switched on and idle as the print head is not properly parked and the heads can dry out - so I'm now very careful about that. Really I'm just hoping the new Canon 8 ink printer will work well with Matt paper...
