Yes indeed. I had suspected as much since on occasions I have hit the wrong button when re-sizing a Canon1Ds file (in plain old Photoshop) and found myself with an astonishingly good 500 Mb file by mistake.

I am about to test resizing Canon1Ds RAW files in Phase One's DSLR, the (newest) PHS Camera RAW and Canon's own software, to see which does it best.

If there is a visible difference I will post some observations.
