I've been asked to take some photographs in a couple of months, some of which need presenting in a short slideshow on a DVD for use on a home DVD player. Toast Titanium offers the option of writing discs in NTSC or PAL format. I've been told that a couple of the discs need to go to a country that uses SECAM format. How do I do this!?
I made a couple of test discs using both format options - both played on my home DVD. If I write a DVD in say NTSC format, will it play on a SECAM machine? And if I need to specifically write for a SECAM machine what software would I need, assuming this is impossible in Toast?
I found this link matching formats to countries and SECAM is not that universal!
