I'm using an Monitor Spyder with Optical 3.7.5 and am having a few problems. (OSX 10.2.8)
The software seems to either stop halfway through the sequence, giving an error message, 'check device is connected' or it seems to indicate the monitor contrast should be set to 100% when adjusting the luminance - the white level indicator bar in optical is still only at around 75 instead of anywhere near 90 as it should be. I now have a profile which is pretty obvious to the naked eye that is far too bright and cold!
I've run the sequence many times it does change, sometimes down, but the next one will go up again. Optical 3.7.5 has never been brilliant, frequently needing a couple of attempts to complete the sequence.
I tried reinstalling the software but to no avail.
Any suggestions please?
