I'm using a minolta 5400 scanner on a Mac OS10.2.8 and I keep getting an error message that says along the lines of.."cannot scan, close all other dimage scan software". At this stage I have to shut down both scanner and Mac to get rid of the problem. I can then scan for an hour or so and then it re-appears. I've been to the Minolta helpline who tell me that they do not support 10.2.8. Anyone else have this problem and know how to get around it? I'm using the scanner to scan b/w negs and use the "easy scan utility" simply because it produces previews very quickly and then produces a good final scan. I also have Vuescan which I'm using whilst having problems, but cannot find a setting that will produce thumbnail preview scans from which to choose from, anyone figured that one out ?
