Dear list,
Cant remember the name of the plug which corrects for pincusion and
barrel distortion.
Any one any idea at all please.

I remembered this: although the most common distortions are pincushion and barrel, there is at least another one called "moustache", that is becoming more seen in these days of digicams - but not restricted to them. As the name implies, it distorts in a curved fashion, irregularly. The only way to get rid of this distortion that I�m aware of is the good and old PanoTools. A good GUI for this use of PanoTools is PTLens :<http://epaperpress.com/ptlens/index.html> . You can even calibrate your lens to automate the process.
