I'm still somehow having problems with my ibook. It started and worked fine for a few weeks but not I cannot get the mouse/pointer to work, although I am able to open/close files by using the arrow keys on the keyboard. I've tried all manners of things, disk utility, pram, Diskwarrior (it keeps reverting back to OS9.2 when starting from the cd and then cannot find the hardrive) and have tried fsck. I tried the following /sbin/fsck -fy and get the following message "The volume ibook HD cannot be repaired". Is it a throwaway and start again job ?
