I'm trying to help a friend shoot a stop frame animation film using a Fuji S2Pro.Although I used Imacon backs for a bout 6 years-I have no knowledge of DSLR's.
During the shooting,at random times,the exposure will drop by about a 1/4 stop.The 'new' exposure remains constant for a random period/no of frames for no apparent reason.Then the exposure jumps back until it decides to change again. The camera is firewire tethered and controlled from the Fuji softwarev2.0 Seemingly other animators have experienced similar problems(we are trying to get more info)They have tried differant lenses and shot to media cards as well as firewire and still have the same problem,so we are told.
