Hi list,
Just wanted to say thank you to all who helped me resolve the problem I
had a couple of weeks ago removing the background from a helicopter shot
whilst retaining realistic rotor blur.
The suggestions from Dick Roadnight and Rod Wynne-Powell were
particularly helpful, whilst Steve Climpson's advice to 'stop thinking
like a photographer' helped me look at the problem from a different
perspective (sometimes difficult after 40 years of thinking like a
photographer!).
I would also like to thank the person on this list who made me aware of
the PhotoShop books for photographers by Martin Evening. It is so
refreshing to read a book like this produced by a photographer for
photographers containing so much relevant, practical and easy to
understand information in a subject that can at times be difficult to
put across. It has become my reference manual for Photoshop and I
thoroughly recommend it.
Kind regards
Ian Jebbett
