My name is Joy Remuzzi, and I am the new Marketing Director for iView Multimedia Ltd. I have joined this forum to be able to understand better the concerns of the digital photography community, since this is the primary audience for the iView Media products. I would like participants to feel welcome in contacting me on and off the forum for any concerns, questions, comments. iView Multimedia is a small company, very community-oriented, and very responsive to the needs of its users: most of the product development has been thanks to them! My direct email address is [EMAIL PROTECTED], and the phone number here is +44 (20) 7223 8691.
That said, I would like to respond to George's query. We're very happy to know that people are taking advantage of our "try before you buy" policy. In addition, I would like to mention that at this point in time, there are no bugs that we know of in the latest version, 2.0.3, which was launched in Sept 2003. Thanks to our users, we have been quickly alerted when there were problems and addressed them equally rapidly.
For those who did not know, iView will be launching its next upgrade, v 2.5, in May 2004. It will include notable enhancements such as compatibility with Adobe's XMP annotation standard, a new, more modern user interface, navigation back to pre-existing states, and more. The 2.5 version will also be launched as a cross-platform product with Windows. For existing licensed users of the Mac iView MediaPro 2, the upgrade to 2.5 will be free, as has been general policy for us in the past.
Thank you for allowing me to participate in this discussion, I look forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards,
Joy

Hi I'm using the trail of iveiw on my Mac G4 laptop with the Kodak 14n. So far it looks pretty good but before I commit to it, does anyone want to pass comment? Handy tips and nasty bugs or limitations would be much appreciated.
Cheers
George Brooks
