Thanks for the positive feedback Tony.

Anyone interested in becoming a betatester for the MediaPro 2 product, either Win or Mac platform, you can get a preview of version 2 here:

Rest assured, the May launch is a go, am just trying to get all my ducks in a row to make it a success!

Hello Joy, welcome - I'm very glad to hear about the forthcoming Windows
version of MediaPro, since my brief taste of the demo version on Mac
(before I dumped the Mac and returned with great relief to good ol'
Windows) was encouraging. I've been tempted to go for another image
management program, because the launch of the Win product has been
successively delayed, but held off because I liked what I saw of MediaPro,
and it enjoys a solid reputation among many people (incl. on this list)
whose opinions I value. Let's hope we really see it this May - and put me
down for a copy.

Regards, Tony H

2) Response to Thomas England (Original below):

It is one of my priorities, Tom.

We have a new Product Manager on board now as well, and between the two of us, will have the forum working before the launch. I've only been on the job two weeks, still learning what we have to work with.

Regarding the Nikon NEF suggestion, I have trafficked it to the Product Development team, and will keep careful eye on it.

Thanks, as always, for your suggestions

My name is Joy Remuzzi, and I am the new Marketing Director for iView
Multimedia Ltd. I have joined this forum to be able to understand
better the concerns of the digital photography community, since this is
the primary audience for the iView Media products. I would like
participants to feel welcome in contacting me on and off the forum for
any concerns, questions, comments. iView Multimedia is a small company,
very community-oriented, and very responsive to the needs of its users

Welcome, but might I suggest that a good start for a new Marketing Director
might be to get the users' forum working again. It's been unavailable for
new messages for nearly a month now.

Then I would suggest that iView learn how to show Nikon NEF files at a size
larger than thumbnails within a reasonable time. The current 25-45 seconds
per image just doesn't work when a working pro may have hundreds to view
from a single assignment.
