>If any Fuji S2 users out there have experience of Fuji's Hyper Utility
software versus Adobe's Capture RAW, I'd be very interested in the pros
vs.
cons of both?

In direct comparison tests, Adobe Camera Raw in PS7 produced VERY
similar results to Hyper Utility, but I will only use Camera Raw as I
find the functionality and interface of Camera Raw easier to work with.
The new CR in PS Creative Suite is even better, with a chromatic
aberration or colour fringing control as well.

Another pro to CR is the near full screen display, and the same shortcut
zoom controls as PS, and the immediate image refresh when dragging the
sliders, and the ability to show highlight and shadow clipping by
holding down Alt while dragging the Exposure or Shadow sliders.

A trick is to "Set Camera Default" for a project & batch process, then
"Reset Camera Default" when finished.

The only part of Hyper Utility I use is the "Camera Shooting" software.
Although it is a bit clunky, and Fuji misspelt the word "Cancel" on a
button, it drives the camera when tethered. Still impressive with a
client beside you.
